2021 Finca Bancales Cariñena D.O.

Aromas of blackberries, some mocha and herbal spice. On the palate, fruity-sweet hints of dark berries and plum, complemented by cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. The wine is full-bodied, with fine tannins. The ageing time in oak barrels gives it a fine texture and complexity.

The vines for the Finca Bancales grow in a few selected vineyards on the estate that gives the wine its name. The vines are on average around 80 years old and therefore only produce low yields. The grapes are harvested by hand in small baskets. After vinification, the wine matures for around 14 months in French oak barrels.
