2019 Château de Pez Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel 6.0l

A hint of liquorice and golden tobacco on the nose, before fruity (redcurrant, blackberry) and oral (iris) notes unfold. The palate is soft and syrupy, reminiscent of raspberry jelly. In the mouth, it is well balanced with a spicy finish that reveals slightly grainy tannins that give the wine energy and great length, precision and sweetness.

Recommendation: Drinking temperature 16-18 degrees Celsius, open 1 hour before serving, decant if possible. Leg of beef braised in red wine with caramelized shallots and baked potatoes. Matured hard cheese made from raw milk or aromatic semi-soft semi-hard cheese. Optimum drinking maturity 2026 - 2036.
