2020 Meerlust Red

The Meerlust Red shines dark cherry red in the glass, with violet reflections at the edges. The expressive nose of this South African red wine is composed of aromas of powerful redcurrant, plum, exotic spices and a floral note. On the palate, this wine has a medium body with aromas of redcurrant, vanilla and dark chocolate. Delicate, silky tannins and a lively acidity make the finish a long, elegant seduction.

Recommendation: Serve at 17-18 degrees Celsius, goes well with spicy pasta dishes, grilled beef steaks and mature cheese. We recommend drinking this wine until 2025.
