2018 Château de Pez Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel

Very expressive nose of sour cherry and brown tobacco, with sweet notes of licorice candy and peony. Complex on the palate, with notes of violet and fresh blackcurrant, with a hint of thyme and a touch of bitter orange peel giving the wine a gourmet flavor. It is a sensual and charming but restrained Saint-Estephe. Silky, supple tannins give this Pez 2018 a precise and pleasant length.
