2021 Nackenheim Riesling dry

Grown on typical red-slate soils, the ripe, yellow fruit of nectarines and red apples is complemented by ethereal herbal notes and distinctive spicy notes of red Kampot pepper and allspice. With full-bodied pressure, fully ripe fruit and enormous vibration, it seems to literally pulsate on the palate, fueled by the spicy minerality of the red slate soil. Contoured by fine phenolics with piquant spice, it is powerful on the palate with good inner tension.

Recommendation: Serve chilled at 9-10 degrees Celsius as an aperitif, goes well with light starters, salads with roasted nuts and fried mushrooms, asparagus dishes, fried fish or fine poultry.
