2023 Deutzerhof Toujours Rosé

The rosé at the Deutzerhof has been produced for many years from red grapes of selection quality. After the grapes have been cooled in the mash vat for a day, a certain percentage of the must is drawn off for the rosé. The pale pink must is fermented at a controlled temperature to preserve the fruit aromas. After fermentation, the wine matures in steel tanks until bottling in spring. Fine fruit aromas of raspberry and strawberry from the Frühburgunder meet delicate Pinot Noir structures on a fine but balanced framework of acidity and residual sugar.

Recommendation: A wine to go with asparagus, mushroom dishes, salads or simply on the terrace in the evening û a wine to brighten up any summer day.
